If you aren't able to program to your VEX V2 CPU anymore, reflashing both the .BIN and .HEX software can help get your device back to a workable state.

I found this thread that basically said that if you visited Vex's website, you could download their IFI_Loader and manually load the factory .BIN and .HEX files.

The link they're referring to is halfway down this page and it includes a step by step .pdf file of how to reload the default settings back onto the device.
